Developing the right attitude for divine direction (Part 1) By Pst. Femi Leke

Attitude determines altitude in any aspect of life.  A first-class student and a failed student from the same class experience the same lecturer or teacher. There were twelve individuals that were raised in the same circle in Jesus’s ministry; twelve disciples, out of the twelve there was one called Judas Iscariot. The same word John heard and he became a reference point was the same word Judas heard and he ended up in hell.

John was so loaded with the power of the word that Jesus spoke, even when he was arrested, they tried to kill him, history said, they put him in hot oil, he didn’t die. When they couldn’t kill him, they had to cross him over to Isle of Patmos, and that was where he got the book of revelation.

The same message John heard and became a reference point was the same message Judas heard and landed him in hell. Their attitude towards the Word they heard differentiated them.
So, your attitude towards anything determines your altitude. It is not a product of luck neither it is a product of your any affiliation, nor your societal status.  it is not your gender nor your stature, nor your race but what makes the difference is what you do with what you have and this is the product of your attitude.

Now, No one knows a product like the manufacturer, the opinion of a product will never cancel the plan of the manufacturer. So, if you want to know this product called “man”, look at the mind of the manufacturer which is God.
The book of Philemon 1:14 says: But I did not want to do anything without your consent, so that any favor you do would not seem forced but would be voluntary.
This means nothing can be done except with your consent. And your consent is talking about your attitude.

What is your attitude towards God’s word? Your attitude determines the outcome of your life.- Pst Femi Leke (SMI Church)
