The Unstoppable Word of Prophecy (Cont.d)
No matter the level of your expertise, the expectation of God is for you to depend on Him. When Nebuchadnezzar started to make noise, God made a mess of him. He became an animal. When Herod messed up, he was eaten alive by maggots!
Therefore, you should understand that the words of God will definitely come to pass. Whatsoever He has spoken and declared concerning you, your home and marriage, be rest assured that it is settled. God has spoken and it is settled. God has declared His will for us, and no devil can overturn it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
“I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: For thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” Psalm 138:2 (KJV)
God has magnified His word, which means that His word is higher than His name. When God speaks, it is stamped and settled. Just as the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria will say, “Are apase waa,” which means the executive president.
Indeed, God has spoken to you. It means one day you are going to sit at a particular place ordained by God. It means you are going to experience divine protection and provision. Why? He has magnified his word above His name!
“who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;” Hebrew 1:3 (KJV)
We are talking about the word, the power of prophecy. What is prophecy? It is the word of God that you speak before an event. Hence, the power of prophecy is the power of the word. It has an infallible nature, one that can never fail.
Hannah was threatened by barrenness, then the prophet looked at her and said, that thing you prayed for, is settled. Was this true? Yes! To prove that it indeed settled, the first baby came, the second and the third too. For you, I declare that every word of God concerning you will not fail in the mighty name of Jesus.
“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” Matthew 5:17,18 (KJV)
Till how many be fulfilled? All! The scriptures didn’t say till only Genesis, or only Revelation be fulfilled, but all. Everything concerning you is covered in the Scripture, but you need to see the glorious picture of your future in the Scripture. When you see it, no devil will be able to stop you.
Selah!
