You are not created to fail. When you have understanding about a thing, no one will manipulate you to accept the status-cope. One of the major weapon of the devil is the weapon of ignorance; it is so terrible. The third well of salvation we will consider today is WISDOM. The bible says:
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Psalm 23:1
The Lord is our shepherd; and the principal assignment of a Shepherd is to show the sheep the way. It is to lead them. When you see God as your shepherd victory will be so easy for you. God is our shepherd or our pastor; because the word shepherd is pastor. When Jesus was speaking in Matthew 16
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Matthew 16:17-19.
Jesus said blessed are you the son of Jonas (his father’s name was Jonas); and then he gave him a name called Peter. Jesus didn’t say the gate of hell will not attempt; the gate of hell will attempt to attack you, because there’s nothing of value that is free. Anything of value attracts enemies. So Jesus said the gate of hell will attempt to stop you, but do not be afraid (how) I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom of heaven (what are you going to do with that key?) whatsoever thou shall bind on earth shall be bind in heaven and whatsoever thou shall loose on earth shall be loose in heaven. Jesus was telling them that the pit of hell will attack your fruitfulness, they will attempt to stop your prosperity, your blossoming career; but do not worry, tell them that the master has in need of me (how will you do that?) Jesus said; I will give you the key. The strength of a door is in the ability to stay lock. If you have a very beautiful door and the key is not there; is it useful? No. So Jesus said don’t be intimidated by the size of the door or by the designer of that door, as long as you have the key you’re covered. And he didn’t even say key; but he said I will give you the keys (plural). The key that open the door to power is not the key that open the door to riches. Don’t let anybody religiously deceive you; you have to be able to lay hold on the right key that opens the right door (even in your house the key that opens the wardrobe; is it the same key that opens your car? No). So you need the right key. And he said whatsoever; (it means you will be in control, you will be in charge. As a believer, do you have the keys already? Or is there something you need to do to get the keys? This and many more you will find in the next series.(To be continued)
