2Thessalonians 3:1-3.
1-Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
2-And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
3-But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
John 10:10.
10a-The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:
Pray that the word of God will penetrate into your life because the first thing devil wants to steal is the word of God. He knows, if he can steal the word of God from you, he will be able to win you over. So, his first target is to steal the word of God by preventing you from acting positively on it. Devil hates everywhere the undiluted word is preached because he knows that one impact of the word of God will change you forever. Remember, the prodigal son received his encounter and his life was transformed forever.
Titus 1:10-12.
10-For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision.
11-Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.
12-One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretans are alway liars, evil beasts slow bellies.
If you are not careful, people can talk you out of your blessing, even right in the church. So, don’t let them talk you out of your blessings, don’t watch them, you should stop their mouths by disconnecting from them.
Hannah would have missed out of her miracle when prophet Eli called her daughter of Beliah but she chose not to be offended and the prophet blessed her and she received her Samuel. So, your persecution can come from anywhere even in the church but choose not to be offended. Don’t let circumstances push you from your blessings, don’t give in to strife or anger because it will make you to disconnect from God and Holyspirit will step aside.
Nehemiah 4:1-3
1-But it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we builded the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation and mocked the Jews.
2-And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?
3-Now Tobiah the Ammonite was by him, and he said, Even that which they build, if a fox go up, he shall even break down their stone wall.
The devil tried to use Sanballat and Tobiah to talk the Jews out of God’s purpose. God’s plan for them was to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem and build His house. The Jews were building the wall of their nation and Sanballat went to report them to the army in another nation. They wanted to talk them out of their blessings. This is persecution for them.
