And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:14-18.

 

 

This place was a conversation between Christ and Nicodemus. Nicodemus was a teacher, he was not just an ordinary man; we can say he was a professor of the law. He came to Jesus during the night, and Jesus was explaining to him how to enter the kingdom of God. He told him; you have to be born again. And Nicodemus replied I am old, I am a teacher, I am connected. .  . But how do I become born again? Do I enter into my mothers belly? But Jesus made a reference to what Moses did in the wilderness. When the children of God murmured in the wilderness and  they were beaten by fiery serpent; killing them and they were dying in thousands because of murmuring. God spoke to Moses after he cried to the Lord, and God told him go and make a brazen serpent and put it on a pole; that everyone that is beaten by that snake, once they look at the brazen serpent they will be saved. ( bronze is a product of copper and another metal). And it signifies corruption or when the originalty of a thing has been polluted. Metals are not pure iron. When you look at the word braze; is an alloy, is not a pure metal it signifies sin.) God told Moses once you raise up that sin ( Jesus became sin for us) signifying Jesus now; once they see it they will be healed. So Jesus said just as Moses lifted up that serpent and they look at it, and were saved. Also the son of man (Jesus) will up one day and “whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life“. That is the condition. The bible says Jesus was the lamp of God that was slain from the foundation of the earth; so the solution has been made available, but you won’t be able to download it if you don’t look up. If you’re a covenant minded, any devil that touches you, has touched God. God called you the apple of his eyes; it simply means anyone that dares you; dares God. That was why David could face Goliath saying who is this uncircumcised Philistine; it means who is this dog that doesn’t have covenant with God. My own covenant partner (God) will bring you down. When you see God as Jehovah Nissi as a covevant partner; you will dare any devil at anytime. Verse 15 says; he gave, not he will give, he already gave; that whosoever shall believe in him ( that is the condition). The provision is the son has been given; the condition is believing in him, until the condition is meant; you won’t be born again. Verse17 says; God didn’t send his son to condemn the world; because the world has already been condemned (sinners knows they are sinners). Our relationship with God is a covenant relationship; until you play your part you cannot download what has been given. God is not thinking about giving us all this things; he has given us, but you cannot connect with it until you plug. So also prosperity is a covenant walk. What then is that covenant?

Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well pleasing to God.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Philip 4:15-19.
