Psalms 44:3.
3-For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.
Deuteronomy 2:24.
24-Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.
God gave them the promise land and gave them the responsibility of contending in battle. You don’t just hold the rod and start walking around, you have to contend before you possess all your possession. There is no possession without contention. Anything that has value will attract people, when your life is precious, you will be bombarded with a lot of challenges, so you have to engage the rod. Engage the rod in battle, engage it powerfully. No demon can stop your testimony of divine glory when you applied the revealed word of God you had.
Daniel 11:32.
32-And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
Go for the rod, the revelation of the truth in that area, don’t generalize it. Every rod has its own place.
The rod of Jehovah Rapha will give you perfect healing.
The rod of Jehovah Nissi put the enemies at your feet, this is power.
The rod of Jehovah Jireh will deflect financial pressure at any time.
The rod of Jehovah Raah will lead you in taking a decision because wisdom is the principal thing.
The rod of Jehovah Tsidkenu puts sin where it belongs so that you will not lose your honor.
the rod of Jehovah Shammah will give you the confidence that God is ever there with you
The rod of Jehovah Shalom will give you peace.
So, anytime there is challenges, ask God for the rod that deal with the situation, and when He reveals to you, then take it in your hand and do signs with it.
