Where Can We Find Faith? – Pastor Femi Leke

Having discovered that faith is the connecting cord with the blessings of the Lord, we tend to question, “where can we find faith?”

(Rom 10:6-9)

But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in your heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

But what saith it? The word is nigh you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if you shalt confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, you shalt be saved.

The word “save” means to be saved from sin and all the consequences of sin. It means to have all the redemptive packages delivered to you. The day you are saved, you are given access to all the redemptive blessings according to Revelation 5:12. Therefore, you are not just saved from sin but every consequence of sin.

Meanwhile, having a whole package means you have access to everything that comes with it. Just as you have signed for salvation, the package contains all. Verse 10 says, For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Therefore, the residence where faith lives is the heart of men. That’s why the bible says in Proverb 4:23, “keep your heart with all diligence for out of it come the issues of life.”

Moreover, when you are being pleaded with to keep your heart, they are begging you to have a residence place for the faith. If the place in your heart is not conducive, faith won’t stay. Hence, when you are being asked to forgive that man, woman, husband, wife, uncle, friend, mother, or father, it’s all for your sake. This is because faith can’t stay when your heart is not clean.

Finally, brethren, you can’t connect with your blessing without faith. Also, the residence place of faith is your heart; keep your heart.
