We didn’t come to the world with anything, and we will return with nothing; because we didn’t need to bring anything along, everything you will need has been provided. We also have to remember that without supernatural supply we can’t fulfill the purpose of God for our lives. Without supernatural supply or provision; you cannot fulfill the vision that God has given you. So the vision he gave you, he gave you what it takes to discharge the assignment, to perform the duty. That is why he said I give you power to create wealth. Why?
Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.
Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.
Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns.
And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.
And the LORD shewed me four carpenters.
Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.
Zechariah 1:16-21.
The line there means there will be reconstruction again; that is why every where you see prosperity, there will be buildings and constructions. So God was telling them that this Jerusalem by mercy; I will release my power upon it and it will be rebuilt. How will he rebuild it?
Through prosperity, without prosperity the kingdom of God cannot spread. He said, my city through prosperity shall spread abroad. The devil knows this; that this is the key to spread the kingdom. God told man to fill up the earth, how do you fill up the earth? Without prosperity it is impossible; and the devil knows that, the devil knows that once the people prosper; the city will be built. So he knew that the only way to stop the building of the city; is to stop the prosperity of the people. That is why everywhere you see the devil fighting against people prosperity, he wants to stop them from fulfilling God’s plan for their lives. He tried all manner of gimmicks to make people either to worship that prosperity or money or make them afraid of prospering.
The ultimate aim of the devil is to stop the prosperity of the people of God. If you stop preaching prosperity; people will stop prospering, because you can be living in a prosperous land and not be prosperous. Like the man at the beautiful gate; the gate was beautiful but his life was not beautiful, he was there for many years as a lame man and his life was not beautiful.
The horns was scattering them; they invested in business; it never worked, they invested in agriculture; it came down, there is nothing they did that prosper; this was because there were forces behind it and their agenda was to stop the spreading of the city. So when you see the devil attacking your business, attacking the purpose of God for your life; because God has set you aside to be able to put things in place. When you have solution to something; they won’t care whether you’re black, cream, yellow . . . Like Joseph, did they care about his background; he was a prisoner, yet he became a prime minister. What made it possible? He had solution to their problem, nobody cares about a liability; but when they know you have what it takes; they will search for you. Dominion without financial freedom is fake.
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
