Two kinds of prayer God will not answer.
- When you pray for what he has already given.
- when you’re asking for what he has empowered you to do.
Example: he won’t believe for you (John 3:16), so instead of asking God for what he has given: rather ask for the convenant and steps to take to enjoy it.
At beginning of the first message: we said the foundation of our laughter is the love of God . Because we do not qualify for it. Gods love is unconditional: and the substance of our laughter is the word of God, not the word of men or the government. God is all you need to meet all your need, you will never need more than God.
The Grace Dimensions Of Divine laughter.
We are what we are by the grace of God. psalm 44:1-3 ;
1)we have heard with our ears, O God, our father has told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old. 2) How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them: how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out. 3) for they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.
What put Israel in the land was the favour of God. What kind of sword will they have used to deal with the Amalekite, jebusite, Amorite, caanite; they will have killed them. So they got not the land by their own sword but the hand of God.
You are not what you are by your own strength, but the favour of God single you out. We are helplessly, helpless without God: we are dead without God, we can do nothing without God. So we should place value on the grace of God. God as made a vow, he will never turn his hand back: this is our year of divine laughter and he his not going to cancel the mandate.
Romans 9:15
For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mecry, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. Zechariah 4:7 Who are thou, o great mountain? before zerubbabel thou shall become plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shouting, crying, grace, grace unto it.
I tell people I am a product of God’s grace: and that’s why I will never brag anywhere: I brag in Christ Jesus: because I am not qualify. The people that knew my background, knows if they are counting people: that will be a pastor, I will be the last to be considered. I am a product of his mercy.
