The Power in the name of Jesus (Lion of the tribe of Judah) by Pst. Femi Leke

You are supposed to be empowered to confront and subdue every enemy of your life because the only language the devil understands is power. The devil has no respect for anything except power.

Psalms 66:3.

3-Say unto God, how terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

The name of the Lord is the power that subdues the devil. So, if you want to always subdue the enemy, you have to be adequately empowered. Let it be known to you that the enemies want to distract you with many things, so that he can thrive and corner you.

Psalms 110:1-3.

1-The Lord said unto my Lord, sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

2-The Lord shall send the rod rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

3-Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

Jesus came empowered, he was described as Lion of the tribe of Judah, he only showed up as a sheep to save us, nobody could dare him. So, you need adequate power, if you are not thirsting for the power of God, you won’t get it because it will always cost you something. Power is not cheap, energy is expensive, the same thing with the Power of God.

Proberbs 18:10.

10-The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

The two key words in this scripture are “Jehovah” and “into”. “Into” is used because if you want to manifest your sonship, you need authority and power. Authority without adequate power will make you a toy. If you run into the name of Jehovah, you are submerged by it i.e you are covered by it.

Colossians 1:27.

27-To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
