Why do we need to pray? By Femi Leke

Why do we need to pray?

Prayer is so important. We see prayer as giving the earthly body license for heaven’s intervention. There is protocol in heaven; God will not jump protocols or break His rules. He said, Call unto me, which means if you don’t call unto him, he won’t answer.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Genesis 1:26.

The man was given dominion over the earth, so Heaven will not interfere until the piles of earth call them. The Bible says that heaven is his throne, but he has given the earth to the sons of men as his tenant. He will not jump protocol. When you don’t call on God, He will not come. People suffer in silence; that is why Heaven says to call upon me. Call on heaven.

Prayer gives you the right to have Heaven invade the earth on your behalf.

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon, and the stars, which thou hast ordained,

What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor.

Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet.

Psalms 8:3-6.

God has put all things under your feet, but before they can come legally to you, you have to call them. You have to call the attention of heaven, and heaven will come to help. Call for Heaven; don’t watch what you don’t want. Whatever you don’t resist has the right to prevail.
