PROVOKING GOD FAVOR By Pst Femi Leke

PROVOKING GOD FAVOR

I am highly favored; my family is highly favored; my goings and comings are highly favored; and I will never lack the favor of God. The Bible says that the testimony of Jesus is prophecy.

Previously, we looked at provoking the favor of God, and today we will look at knowledge connection. We are what we are only by the grace of God. The Bible says that the race is not for the swift. If you look at your colleagues and realize that you were born at the same time, when you look at their situation, you will weep for some of them. It is not because you are smart or stay in a better country… It is the mercy of God, and you have to know that and let your children know that as well. We are what we are only by the grace of God. Also in Genesis 8, we said God remembered Noah. It is only people who place value on the favor who will enjoy it, because whatever you don’t value can’t last. Every resource that you don’t place value on or that you mismanage will run away from you. If you don’t place value on the favor of God, the grace of God, or the mercies of God, you can’t enjoy them.

For they got not the land in possession by their sword, nor did their arm save them, but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favor unto them.

Psalm 44:3.

They got the land not by their power, because the Bible says the earth is the Lord and the fullness thereof. Every man has a history of where they got the land from; nobody owns any land except the Lord, who gave it to him.

We also said that to provoke God’s favor, the number one way or channel is to be kingdom-minded. Be interested in God’s interest. It’s natural that when you are interested in what someone is interested in, that person will give you attention. The key to the heart of a man is his ear. If you want God to listen to you, you speak into his ear. How do you speak to his ear? By doing what he has sent you to do. No one who doesn’t have an interest in God’s interest will enjoy his favor because God is a responsible father; he won’t pay for what he has not ordered. You are the one who is not interested in God’s interest in the expansion of his kingdom, and not just religious, because religious is a substitute that makes you feel you are there yet far from reality. If you must seek the favor of God, you must seek advancement.

When Paul was arrested, he was beaten; they wanted to kill him, but he had the fact that he had dual citizenship, and he had two passports: the passport of Israel and the passport of Rome. But because of his understanding of the law, he said they should not slap him, and he said he has Roman citizenship, and they apologized; if not, they would have killed him. The knowledge of the truth empowers you. The Bible says I have given you power over scorpions and snakes; not I would give you, but I have given you. The Bible says this sign shall follow those who are saved; the first thing He said was that they will cast out demons. If you know who you are in Christ Jesus, the favor has been released from heaven, but if you don’t know that it is your right, you can still be suffering. We are only what we are by the mercy of God, so we should not at any time do anything that will detach us from the mercy of God, because when we are detached from God, we are gone because He is our source.

And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.

But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God, for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant, which he swore unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Deuteronomy 8:17&18.

God was telling them that He had blessed them and given them food. All power is given; there is no power that you have that you aren’t given. God is the one who gave us power, and we should never forget this reality because pride will make you think like a hero, and you will begin to imagine vain glory. You are what you are, by the grace of God.

But he gives more grace. Therefore, he says, God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.
