How to Get to the Root of the Problem By Pst Femi Leke

When destroying something, you must always go to the root and pull it out, and it will be gone forever.

Matt. 6:9-10

[9] Therefore, pray in this manner: Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

[10] Come, thy kingdom. Do Your will on earth as it is in heaven.

After man sinned, God’s dominion became the presence of the king. There is no kingdom if there is no monarch. Because a kingdom is a king’s domain, it must have a King before it can be a dominion. So let God’s dominion return to earth. Why? The domain known as Earth has existed from the beginning of time in order for his Will to be carried out. So, what exactly is sin? Sin is defined as any action that goes against God’s will. God intended to populate this realm with his will through our will; he will never force or manipulate us. God has all the power; He is omnipotent and omniscient; He knows everything, but He will never force us to do anything. His intention was for his plans to be carried out here by using our will, which means he will transfer his will to us and we will carry it out once we discover it. Man was used in order to change God’s will, which amounted to sin. To deal with the source of sin, we must first get to the root. The essence of man’s dilemma is our heart’s trouble. Your subconscious mind is represented by your heart. Humans are spirits; we exist in the physical body, but we have a soul, which is divided into three compartments: will, emotions, and thinking. Our subconscious mind is represented by our heart. If you wish to introduce anything new to a location, simply teach or provide the information. That is why the media is so dangerous since it determines the course of any nation.

Psalm 11:1–2.

[1] (A Psalm of David to the Chief Musician.) In the LORD I put my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?

[2] Behold, the wicked draw their bow; they prepare their arrow on the string, that they may shoot at the upright in heart.

When it comes to mental matters, David has an uncommon Psalm. Because of his time spent with the animals as a shepherd, he has a deep grasp of the soul whenever he speaks about it. He was a thinker, which is why he was able to write all these songs, and he passed those abilities on to Solomon. Psalms, Ecclesiastics, and Songs of Solomon were all written by Solomon. David was indicating here that the wicked, which is the devil, prepare their arrow and prepare to shoot it discreetly at the upright in heart. We’re talking about arrows of ideas here, not literal arrows. That is why the Bible says our weapons are not canals, but mighty through God to pull down strongholds. These arrows are referring to suggestions to your thinking; ideas that come to you secretly. Privately indicates that you don’t even know who they are. (You can discard any treasure if someone shoots an arrow at your mind and convinces you that mind—treasure is garbage; you’ll even thank him for assisting you in dropping it.) Whoever controls your mind controls you. That is why the devil is always hunting for a person’s soul. The devil launched the arrow at Eve alone in the garden, and Eve received it, as the Bible tells in Proverbs 23:7.

23:7 (Proverbs)

[7] For he is as he thinketh in his heart: Eat and drink, he says, but his heart is not with thee.

The direction of your life is determined by the state of your mind and emotions. Where you end up is determined by how you think. You cannot think of failure and become successful. It is not possible! It is impossible to think like a rat and end up as an elephant. If you can’t visualize success, one billion visions won’t help you. What you see as a stumbling hurdle, someone else sees as a stepping stone to a higher level; what you view as a stumbling block, someone else sees as a stepping stone to a higher level. What is the distinction? Mindset.

The issue of sin, or doing something immoral against God’s will, has to do with the way you think. The devil understands that if he can successfully shift your thinking, you will change your direction.

4:23 Proverbs

[23] Keep thy heart with all attention, for the issues of life arise from it.

There is no action we take that does not go through our hearts; this is why you are accountable for your actions. That is why the devil assaults it strategically. The devil desired to pull Jacob down. Jacob was supposed to be bigger by divine design, but the devil vowed he would destroy him. When Isaac wanted to bless Esau, he requested him to make him soup. Rebecca gripped it and instructed Jacob to move it. Jacob’s mother influenced his thoughts. When he followed through on that idea, it brought him down. He squandered years running around until he had a meeting with God after repenting, and God said, Come, you’re to be blessed, but not in this way since God’s word cannot be broken. According to the Bible, righteousness exalts a nation, but immorality exposes people to shame. You will never see a nation or people rejoicing in sin go up; if he goes up, he will undoubtedly come down.

1:14 Philemon

[14] But without thy mind, I would accomplish nothing; that thy benefit should not be forced upon me, but given gladly.

God desired to carry out his purpose on earth through the use of our will. These acts cannot be done without your approval or assent, according to the Bible, and the Lord Jesus verified this in Matthew 12:13.

Matthew 12:13 (KJV).

[13] Then he says to the man, “Stretch out thine hand.” And as he stretched it out, it was restored entire, just like the other.

The quality of a man’s heart determines whether he is good or bad. You will say and do evil if you think evil.

Matthew 15:11 – 20.

[11] It is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a man, but what comes out of the mouth that defiles a man.

[12] Then came his followers, and they asked him, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended after hearing this saying?”

But he said, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted shall be rooted up.”

[14] Ignore them; they are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, they will both end up in the ditch.

Then Peter responded, saying, “Declare this parable to us.”

[16] And Jesus asked, “Are you still without understanding?”

[17] Do you not realize that whatever enters the mouth passes into the belly and is thrown out into the draught?

[18] However, the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile the man.

[19] For evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witnesses, and blasphemy spring from the heart:

[20] These are the things that contaminate a man; yet, eating with unwashed hands does not defile a man.

What makes a man sin, according to Jesus, is not what he consumes, but what comes out of him. The people were unhappy because Jesus was eating without washing his hands, and Jesus responded that what enters into your system does not make you a sinner, but what comes out of your body does, for what comes from the mouth comes from the heart, and this is what defiles the body.

However, wickedness will produce evil words, and evil words will produce evil acts, and evil actions will produce sin. Ignorance is the most lethal weapon of the devil that we must combat. The devil’s most dangerous weapon is to keep people from understanding the truth.

Isaiah 28:15-17

[15] From the day thou wast made, thou wast flawless in thy ways, till wickedness was discovered in thee.

[16] They have filled the middle of thee with violence because of the number of thy merchandise, and thou hast sinned; therefore, I will cast thee as profane from the mountain of God, and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

[17] Because of thy beauty, thy heart was raised up; because of thy brilliance, thou hast corrupted thine wisdom; I will cast thee to the ground; I will lay thee before kings, that they may see thee.

Iniquity was discovered in the devil. Lucifer’s wisdom became corrupted when he fell into sin, therefore his sole weapon is corrupt wisdom. That’s the same arrow he shot at Eve in the garden. All three of Jesus’ temptations came from the Bible. He quoted the passage for Jesus, but he added something to it, which Jesus denied. The sole weapon in the devil’s arsenal is distorted truth. There is no such thing as modern truth; truth is truth, and truth cannot change. The truth in the Garden of Eden is eternal and unchangeable.

6:10 Ephesians

[10] Finally, dear brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the might of his might.

When you go to a wedding, you don’t wear armor; you wear armor when you go to war. What exactly are wiles? It denotes deception. That is the devil’s only weapon, and he uses it to strike the heart. That is the devil’s plan; it has not changed and will not change.

Who assassinated Jesus? The position of power. The devil couldn’t go and suffocate him while he was sleeping; he had to corrupt the thoughts of others in order to kill him. Who murdered John and stoned Stephen? Who told them they couldn’t preach in Jesus’ name? The position of power. The devil shot that nasty arrow into their heads, and they consented to it and carried it out. Our thinking is the foundation of our destiny. If you sow a word, you will harvest action; if you sow action, you will reap character; and if you sow character, you will reap destiny. Your life’s path is determined by your deeds rather than the decisions of your country’s witches and wizards. What exactly are you doing? Your actions determine where you end up. Where you are heading is not the result of your country’s magicians and wizards; it is the result of what you continuously do.

6:11 Ephesians

[11] Put on all of God’s armor so that you can stand against the devil’s wiles.

Wiles denotes deception. The devil’s sole weapon is ignorance. According to Ezekiel, intelligence has been corrupted, which is why you must be equipped with the truth. The air is associated with high places. What’s going on in the air? Media. The media’s orientation determines the nation’s direction.

12:9 (Revelation)

[9] And the big dragon was cast out—that ancient serpent known as the Devil and Satan, who deceives the entire world—he was cast out into the earth, along with his angels.

The devil’s only weapon is deception. The beginning of all sin is thought.

How do we stop the satanic arrow?

Regulate your thinking with God’s word on a regular basis. Nothing is more hazardous than an uncontrolled idea. Regulate it; establish a line that cannot be passed. The Bible forbids removing the ancient land mark. There is no such thing as modern-day truth. According to Jesus, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” Don’t mess with God; he is both a loving parent and a burning fire.

Regulate your thoughts; anything that is contrary to God’s Will is sin, and it will sink you. God has supplied us with a way out.

10:12 in 1 Corinthians

[12] Therefore, let him who believes he stands take care lest he fall.

Take care. There is a way to avoid this devilish arrow, and that way is to regulate your thoughts with God’s word. In Joshua 1:8, God talked to Joshua.

1:8 Joshua

[8] This book of the law shall not leave from thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and thy success shall be great.

How many times have you done this? Both throughout the day and at night. Don’t think about the world, but think about God’s word all the time. Before you do something, ask yourself, “Will Jesus do it?” Is this action supported by the word of God? God has no regard for anyone. Unforgiveness is a sin; it is not found in the Bible; and it is contrary to God’s will. Sin begins in the mind, and in order to eradicate it at its source, you must control your thoughts.

John 1:5

[5] And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness does not fathom it.

10:3 2 Corinthians

[3] For even though we walk in flesh, we do not fight in flesh:

Jesus came to teach the people because it is the only way to make things right. If you can influence people’s minds, you can transform their lives forever. The majority of Jesus’ time was spent educating them.

10:4 2 Corinthians

[4] (For our weapons are not carnal, but powerful through God for the breaking down of strongholds.)

What exactly are those strongholds? Putting down people’s imaginations. What exactly is imagination? The formation of an image. Where do the images come from? Because we think in pictures, we think in pictures. So, if you can erase that image, you will not be bound by sin. You drag it down; it demands force; it will not pull itself down because a curse without a solution must be attacked without care. How do you fight the good fight of faith? By struggling against the devil’s suggestion. You will never need any encouragement to move on with your life until you see the gorgeous vision of your future in the scripture, which is the intoxication that will be pushing you about. That was the impetus for Jesus to go to the cross; he recognized in the scripture that his soul would not perish in hell. In the scripture, he saw the Revelation.

29:29 Deuteronomy

[29] The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the revealed things belong to us and our offspring forever, so that we may perform all the commandments of this law.

To preserve your faith in God, you must struggle for it.

10:11 in 2 Corinthians

[11] Let such a person consider this: just as we are in word by letter when we are gone, we will be in deed when we are present.

When you look into your future, you see nothing. It is the devil’s work; he wishes to keep you from seeing your future in the scriptures. You fight it and eventually capture it.

Rev. 5:6-7

[6] And I saw, and lo, in the midst of the throne and the four beasts and the elders, stood a slain Lamb with seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

And he came and grabbed the book from the right hand of the throne’s occupant.

What do you do with the horn? For the fight. It grabbed it by the horns and ripped it apart. The roadblock to your honor, success, profession, and marriage has been removed. What is the purpose of its seven eyes? To see, because you can destroy something and still be unable to see. So when you see it, you believe it; you become it; that’s how it works.

1 Kings 11:1-4

[1] And a rod shall sprout from Jesse’s stem, and a Branch shall grow from his roots:

[2] And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, counsel and strength, knowledge, and fear of the LORD.

[3] And he shall be quick-witted in the dread of the LORD; and he shall not judge by the sight of his eyes, nor reprove by the hearing of his ears.

[4] But he will judge the poor with fairness and reprove the meek with equity; and he will smite the earth with the rod of his mouth and destroy the wicked with the breath of his lips.

It talks about God’s spirit. It mentions the spirits of knowledge, intelligence, and advice, among other things. It mentions light; choose light to help you regulate your thinking.
