How Do I Access Power.
Power is accessed on the platform of faith; faith is the connection between humanity and divinity, but how do I build that faith?
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;(Philip 3:10KJV).
And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.(Daniel 11:32KJV).
- The power of God is delivered on the platform of revelation: Knowing whom you’re, your true identity; because the thief that want to steal from you, his first assignment that he usually embark upon is to paint a gloomy picture of your future to deceive you from loosing the reality of your identity, once that happens; you will surrender ( If you have a treasure in your hand and the devil can convince you to make you look at that treasure as trash; you will even thank him when he takes it from you), so you to need know.
Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, – Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers- That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: – The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, – And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, – Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:(Ephesians 1:15-21KJV)
Paul said my prayer for you; is for you to be able to gain access, he said that your eyes of your understanding be opened, to the realities that are in Christ Jesus. When Christ was raised up in heavenly realm far above principalities and power, we are in him as church; we have been raised up with him, so when we grab this understanding, when we are able to see this reality; our faith will come alive
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:(John 1:12KJV).
Until you believe you cannot become, and you cannot believe until you see, because faith comes by the understanding of the truth. If you cannot see the reality of your heritage of prosperity in Christ Jesus, you will worry about your finance.
- For you to be able to have access to the power of God, you must be able to see that in Christ Jesus, the totality of the empowerment: And you have to connect with that power, it is then the power can be activated. The power has been given as a redemptive benefits, but you need to activate by faith, you need to believe; before you can become it.
- 3. To draw power of God, we need to build our faith: You need to build your faith, and you don’t build it by just sitting down; you take conscious effort to build your faith, because the bible says; faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. The reason is this; power is determined by the nature of the vessel. The capacity to draw the level of power, you will draw from heaven, even thou the power has been given is determined by a vessel that you are; i.e your faith and readiness to draw. ( for example, there are some people, if the power of prosperity manifest in their lives, you won’t see them again; everything will change), so to draw power depends on you, it’s drawn by faith and standing on the foundation of the unquenchable love of God and for his people; because God will not give you what will kill you, he loves you so much.
The power of God is real and is accessible by faith; but that faith as to be built up by revelation of the truth.
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.- But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.- If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.(2Tim 2:19-21KJV).
So, you determine the kind of vessel you’re, you are designed to carry the power of God.
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.(Jude 1:20KJV).
Are you ready to build your faith? Remember,power of God answers to thirst, and that thirst is proven by faith.
For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring: – And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses(Isaiah 44:3-4KJV).
We need to be able to see it. What are you seeing? When God spoke to Moses to go and deliver his people, he couldn’t go; until he was able to see ” God said, see I have made thee a god unto Pharaoh”. The implication is this; when you see, you believe.
Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in. – And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.(Joshua 6:1-2KJV).
God told the children of Israel to dance around the walls of Jericho, what empowered Joshua to carry out that mission, was the faith in what God said. So what as God told you? If what you’re seeing now, is not what you saw, then what you’re seeing now is temporary; because what your saw is what God said at the beginning.
Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.(Rev 5:12KJV).
So if you see anything contrary to the redemptive benefits, is temporary; you have to confront it, and how do you confront it? You have to see, so when you set time aside for prayers and fasting; it should be a platform for building up power and gaining access to the light. When you lay hands on the light, the devil will give way; so if the devil is humiliating you in any area, it means you lack adequate fire in that area. In( Ezekiel 37), the first thing God asked Ezekiel was; “what do you see” because he knew it won’t work if he his unable to see the valley of dry bones, becoming the valley of army, so he first cured his unbelief. Paul prayed for the people that their eyes be enlightened, the bible says; if the gospel be hid, it’s to them that are lost (why are they lost?) because the god of this world as blinded their mind lest they see. So the main ministry of the devil; “is mind blinding” Jesus wept for Jerusalem because they are unable to see.
We need to see; so that you don’t beg beg for what is rightly yours,or what as been given to you.
