Psalm 44vs3-4:
(for they got not the land in possession by their own sword,neither did their own arm saved them: but thy right hand,and thy arm,and the light of thy countenance,because thou hadst a favour unto them.4- thou art my king, o God commanded deliverances for Jacob).
I would like for us to understand the above scripture that, it was because of the favour from God. They didn’t take their possession of the land, ‘the promised Land’ because they had more arrows than other people, they did not get it because they could pray nor because of the colour of their skin nor their height, but because of the favour of the Lord.
So stand on the love of God, the unfailing love of God and believe the gospel. The gospel is the good news, because the good news is the power of God unto salvation.
To save people from their sin. The gospel is the assignment that Jesus gave us. For instance, to a man that was told that sickness will bring him down and he gets heal, that’s good news.
Romans 1vs14 -16:
( I am debt to the Greeks, and to the barbarians;both to the wise,and the unwise. 15- so,as much as in me is, i am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.16-for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jews first,and also to the Greek.)
Nothing can deliver you apart from the gospel, the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ is the power unto salvation.
The word power, is “Dunamis” that means the rupt blasting power that will destroy every trouble of your life on the mighty name of Jesus Christ (Amen).
He said it is the power of God unto salvation, so we need to be saved from sin and all the consequences of sin and don’t let any devil break you down. Believe in what Jesus said, you can’t add or remove from it.
In Genesis 2vs 15- you will see how God created man
(15] And the lord told them that they should eat of this fruit,the day you par take of it ,is the day you’re going to die.
And of course they disobeyed and when they disobeyed, they died.
Genesis 3:7-10
[7]And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
[8]And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
[9]And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
[10]And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
Somebody will say but they’re still talking, yes, the word dies does not mean to cease to exist, but they were disconnected from God.
What can a dead man do to himself?
Nothing!
So you can’t add anything to the gospel, the only thing thing is to receive it.
Romans 8vs11:
(But if the spirit of him that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you,he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his spirit that dwelleth in you).
See, a dead Man or a dead person cannot help himself, with God on your side you can do all things. All you need to do is just to believe the goodnews.
That you were raised in the environment where they pray to their ancestors to help them is a trash. The weakest thing is the dead man, so if you pray to the ancestors and something comes, it was demons that answered.
The bible said even when we were dead to sin, Christ died for us. The only thing we need to do is to receive that help, believe what God says, because what God says, he will do it. If you are begging God for husband, or woman believing the lord for the fruit of womb, all you need to do is just to believe the gospel.
The bible says your word have I found and I eat it, you will eat the word of God. Eat the word of God this year, eat it raw, so when you breathe out, its the word that is coming out. You need to understand this properly, because it is what you eat that comes out. You eat the word, the word comes out. So when the devil show’s up, you will respond with the word. The devil doesn’t understand any language only the word.
Take time to look at the seven redemptive for this year. Look at them, eat them and take what part you need. By the grace of God starting from February we will take them one by one.
Beloved, do not be casual with God, take him as God, he is not there to impress you.
Let us take this prayer points:
– As the Lord liveth they won’t have to push you through before you laugh in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. (Amen).
– There shall be spontaneous, jubilation of celebration erupting in your household in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. (Amen).
