WHY WE MUST PRAISE GOD By Pst. FemiLeke

Psalms 103:1-5.

1-Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2-Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

3-Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

4-Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies;

5-Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle.

The only way to keep up praising God is to recount his benefits, the devil manipulates us into thinking about what is not working, but what of the things that are working?

Devil makes you to see what happens last year about your target that you set and you couldn’t meet. He will not make you to see the glorious future ahead. Beloved, yesterday is past, you can’t change it. If you cry till tomorrow, you can’t change yesterday but there is a future. What happens in the future depends on the step you take now because it is high level of insanity to do same thing the same way and expect different results.

So, David said bless the Lord oh my soul and forget not all his benefit, which means we have the tendency to forget. When someone wrong you, you easily forget the good things he has done before. So, that’s why David said, his soul should forget not all his benefits.

Psalms 8:1, 4.

1-O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

4-What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

Refection: God thinks about you,  His mind is full of only you.
