  1. It is a commandment to praise God. You cannot but praise God. Remember you are a king and He is King of kings and if you want to retain your place as a king, you must do what the King of kings says. It is a commandment, if you do not want to lose your place, you must praise God.

Malachi 2:1-4.

1-And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.

2-If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.

3-Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.

4-And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the Lord of hosts.

When you did not praise God, you are calling for curses.

Rev 5:9-10.

9-And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10-And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

4- Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Psalms 22:1-3.

1-My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

2-O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.

3-But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

God lives in the praises of his people. So, for you to secure God’s presence, you must praise him, God’s presence cannot survive an environment that is devoid of praise.
