John 8:32.
8-And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Exodus 4:17.
17-And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs.
The truth will make you free; the word “make” is a process and not automatic. You will take the rod and you will do signs with it, not that you take the rod and signs happen. It is an action word, you will take and do signs with it. So, to live a perpetual victorious life, you have to know what it takes, you must be adequately empowered and make it happen.
Matthew 10:1.
1-And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
The disciples have the responsibility to cast out and to heal, you also have to take responsibility so that you will not be a liability.
Mark 16:20.
20-And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
God is not an idle God, He was working with them and confirming the word that they preached. The disciples were not just sitting and expecting miracles but went forth to preach, they went with the rod they were given.
